MAD DETECTIVE @ IFC
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008One of Johnnie To’s best recent movies, MAD DETECTIVE, got a screening at the New York Asian Film Festival and was then slated to move on to a theatrical run at the IFC Center as part of their First Take series. Then uncertainty reigned as it was announced for a full run, then for two midnight shows only. Now, however, it looks like IFC is giving it a full run and tickets are currently available. From 7/18 to 7/19, MAD DETECTIVE will have three screenings per day at 12:50pm, 8:25pm and Midnight. From 7/20 to 7/22 during 7/20-7/22 it will be screening twice a day at 12:50pm and 8:25pm. It’ll also be screening simultaneously on their Video-on-Demand service.
