Ever since we showed it a few years ago, people have been asking us, “When is LOVE EXPOSURE getting an American release?” Now, the time has come! If you live in Los Angeles, spread the word: LOVE EXPOSURE has a one-week run at Cinefamily starting this week and running 5/13 – 5/20. Ticket info and the schedule can be found here.

If you have not experienced LOVE EXPOSURE then you need to get thee to the Cinefamily and feel its patented Love Power Waves reshaping your brain. It’s one of the few modern movies that we can honestly say is a masterpiece and it easily won our Grand Jury prize when we screened it. Let the critics hump each other’s corduroy legs over boring garbage from Sundance until they have chafed their sad nubbins into oblivion. You will go and feast at the juicy pinata that is LOVE EXPOSURE.

Here’s what we said about it when we screened it:
The director of EXTE and NORIKO’S DINNER TABLE returns with one of the most amazing cinematic achievements of the year. A four-hour epic about pornography, Catholicism, families, fathers, true love, cross-dressing, kung fu, cults and mental illness, this movie will cleanse you of your sins and leave you horny as hell. This is your only chance to see it, and if you ever loved movies you cannot afford to miss it.

Here’s what the critics say:
“Is it Sono’s masterpiece? You bet.”
“Poet-filmmaker Sion Sono…may be some kind of gonzo genius…”
You lucky LA people – go and see LOVE EXPOSURE for the rest of us. Tickets and showtimes.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes.
Always perseveres.
LOVE EXPOSURE

See it.
