Viz Pictures is hosting the World Premiere of the GANTZ live action film on Thursday, January 20th at @ 8pm. It’ll be simultaneously premiering in 325  movie theaters and playing one time only. Also, please note, it will be dubbed in English, not subtitled. To buy your own tickets to the screening, or for more details, just go here. Based on the hit, bizarro anime series and manga, GANTZ is all about some dead kids who suddenly wake up in a room with a featureless black sphere nicknamed Gantz that forces them to hunt down aliens using super-high-tech weapons. It’s a huge series in Japan and this live action movie starring Kenichi Matsuyama (L from the DEATH NOTE movies) and Kazunari Ninomiya (LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA) is a big budget, large scale blockbuster.
